There are several features which make our Graduate Program in Political Science an unusual and outstanding one. With about 60 graduate students and 28 faculty members, we offer balanced educational opportunities in most of the traditional sub-fields of political science. We know that there are a lot of fine graduate programs in political science, but we believe that ours has some important strengths that we hope you will consider.
The department offers five areas of interest: (1) Political Behavior and Institutions; (2) Comparative Politics; (3) International Relations; (4) Political Theory; and (5) Public Policy & Public Administration.
The Fall application deadline for ALL applicants is January 15th, while the Spring application deadline is October 15th.
